Mediterranean Coast Day is an annual observance introduced by the Mediterranean Action Plan of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP/MAP). Led by the Priority Actions Programme/Regional Activity Centre (PAP/RAC), the centre for coastal management under UNEP/MAP, its main aim is to promote the objectives of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Protocol to the Barcelona Convention
